Art Mediums

Acrylic

Acrylics are a good choice if you are wanting a painting to show solid and true colours.  When using acrylics, each colour painted on the canvas will dry true to its original colour.  I tend to use acrylics when clients request abstract or textured paintings.

Pastels

Pastels can be applied softly and blended more easily to create gradients and can be used to develop more detail.  I prefer to use pastels with landscapes.

Watercolour

Watercolours are generally applied to paper and colour is built up by applying several layer.  I prefer using watercolours when the end result requires a transparent, delicate or ethereal feel.

Graphic Design Art

Graphic design is a form of visual communication.  I mainly use the professional graphic software called Adobe Creative Suite to create and arrange images, words and ideas which convey information or art.  From logos and business cards to brochures, flyers or invitations – I can create varying sizes of artwork or promotional material.
