Hello! My name is Maddie
If you have landed on this page, then you will know I am a budding graphic designer and artist. You may also know, that I am a quiet individual but I strive to show my personality through vibrant creativity. After I graduated from high school, I continued my studies and gained certifications in visual art and graphic design. I am currently using the professional Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and Illustrator. My evolving Adobe skills enable me to create projects of work including business cards, flyers and posters to name just a few. I also love to play with other mediums to create visual art pieces using paints and other materials.
It’s important that you know that though I have a disability, this doesn’t stop me from having a go at achieving things I enjoy. With the support of my family and support workers, I am now venturing on a journey to develop a career utilising my strengths. in the art space As I build my confidence, I am keen to utilise my skillset to produce both digital or print artwork.
Though art can be a challenge for me because I don’t always know how it will turn out or where to start – I am learning to embrace the uniqueness of all my art projects. Please take the time to view my portfolio to see the art work I have already undertaken.
If you would like to engage me, I feel it’s important to set some expectations up front as I strive not to disappoint.
- I need time to complete my projects as some days my disability inhibits me from doing daily tasks including my art work.
- I will use my support workers to help understand and clarify what you are engaging me for and what results you are looking for.
- Though my artwork is original, I often use my support workers in using my computer and professional graphics programs to help conserve my energy.
- Though I sometimes volunteer my skills to produce the artwork, my clients will be responsible for any print costs incurred.
My availability varies depending on requests and my capacity. Just choose an approximate date on when you’d prefer to have your artwork finished and I can review my projects and respond with turn around times.
